Pines down to the shore of the Mar Menor

La Cala del Pino is a fine-sand cove on the shore of the Mar Menor, between km 3 and 4 of La Manga, in the area that bears its name. Its unmistakable feature is the pine grove around it, which comes almost down to the water and gives natural shade during the sunniest hours.

Services

According to Cartagena City Council it has a beach bar, a restaurant, a picnic area, a children's play area, foot showers, walkways and ramps, and toilets open during the bathing season, and it holds the Q for Quality. There are lifeguards from 11 to 20 h from 1 July to 31 August, and until 19 h from 15 to 30 June and from 1 to 15 September. Parking is limited.

Location

It is in the Cala del Pino area, on the shore of the Mar Menor. If you like the lagoon's coves, have a look at the beaches of La Manga.
